ADHD Evaluations

Gain Clarity. Reclaim Focus.

Understand Your Mind.

Many adults go years—sometimes decades—wondering if their struggles with focus, motivation, or organization might be ADHD.

At Higgins Center for Healing, we offer comprehensive adult ADHD evaluations designed to bring understanding, validation, and a clear path forward.

Our approach goes beyond checklists.

We look at the full picture—your history, emotions, nervous system, and daily life—so you walk away with meaningful insights, not just a label.

What Makes Our Evaluations Different?

Our ADHD evaluations take place across two sessions to ensure a thoughtful and accurate process.

Session 1

History & Exploration:

We gather a detailed history of your life experiences, emotional patterns, and attention-related challenges.

Between sessions, you’ll complete evidence-based questionnaires that deepen our understanding of how your brain works.

Session 2

Results & Recommendations:

In your second session, we review your results together.

You’ll receive a formal summary letter documenting findings, diagnostic impressions, and individualized recommendations for treatment, coaching, or workplace/school accommodations.

Who Is This For?

This evaluation is especially designed for adults who:

  • Have long suspected they may have ADHD but were never formally evaluated
  • Identify as high-masking, high-achieving, or perfectionistic and have learned to “overcompensate” for their symptoms
  • Struggle with focus, time management, or emotional regulation despite strong intelligence or success in other areas
  • Want to better understand how trauma, anxiety, or chronic stress may overlap with ADHD symptoms
  • Are seeking documentation to support therapy goals, medication discussions, or accommodations

We specialize in working with high-functioning and high-masking individuals—those who have developed sophisticated coping strategies that can make ADHD harder to recognize or diagnose in traditional settings. Our goal is to help you uncover what’s beneath the mask, and to build strategies that truly fit your nervous system.

Diagnostic Outcomes

A diagnosis of ADHD is not guaranteed.

The purpose of the evaluation is to develop a clear and accurate understanding of your unique strengths and challenges.

In some cases, symptoms may be better explained by trauma, anxiety, depression, or other factors.

Our goal is to help you gain clarity and direction—whatever the outcome.

Please note: The Higgins Center for Healing does not provide medication management or prescriptions.

If medication is clinically indicated, we will provide you with a referral list of trusted prescribers—including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and primary care providers—who specialize in ADHD treatment and can collaborate with your ongoing care.
