Health Insurance
We are considered an out-of-network provider, which means clients are responsible for the full session fee at the time of service. That said, many insurance plans will reimburse a significant portion of these fees. Our services often qualify for reimbursement through FSA and HSA accounts, and we gladly accept HSA/FSA cards as payment.
To make the process easier, we provide detailed monthly receipts (superbills) with all the information you'll need to submit a claim to your insurance provider. Coverage can vary, so it’s always a good idea to check directly with your insurance company. We've included a list of helpful questions below to guide your conversation with them!

Rates
Sarah Higgins, LCSW
- Initial intake appointment : $200.00 (individuals)
- Individual therapy session (approximately 50 minutes): $175.00
- Supervision towards clinical licensure in Virginia: $175.00/hour
- Written reports: $175.00/hour
- Administrative work in excess of 15 minutes including but not limited to phone calls, emails, & collateral contacts will be billed in 15 minute increments at the standard session rate ($175/hour)
- Relief Roadmap Consultation: $175 (1 hour), $275 (90 minutes)
- Competitive Athlete Coaching Packages begin at $1,275 (7 hours of personalized services)
- ADHD Evaluations for Adults: $500 (2 sessions billed at $250/each)
